BioWare makes some pretty intricate characters. Their conceptual artists get some huge respect from me on that front, so I'm glad we faithfully represented each of our characters here. Thanks for the feedback!
The height is great for when it's only Dale(Varric cosplayer) and me, since Varric is supposed to be a dwarf, but all of the girls in our group are close to a foot shorter than me, making the height difference more jarring.
Thanks for the comment. I'm happy you liked our stuff!
Yes, perhaps. In truth, I've only been to one con so far. 8I Anime Banzai. I'll be visiting a friend at Otakon next year.
Actually, I've been thinking of cosplaying as Isabella eventually. I see you guys already have a group going; it would be epic if one day we could have a giant Dragon Age meet at one of the eastern conventions, though admittedly I live on the west coast, so it's more expensive for me.
Don't get me wrong; I'm not trying to be some crazy fangirl. I just liked your cosplay. I promise I'm not some kind of crazy person; it's just not every day that you see an Alistair. I like that there's people out there cosplaying my favorite Dragon Age characters. C:
A friend of ours is working on an Isabela costume. She'll have that done for C2E2 in April when we do our big Dragon Age group. I highly, highly doubt our group is going to make it out to the east coast for a con. The only one I could think of would be Dragon Con, but if I had money to bet on it, I would bet against it.
San Diego Comic Con would be more likely, and I know we've wanted to make it out there, but it's so expensive(I'd have to fly, pay for a hotel, ship my armor, and spring for the badge, not to mention food), that I find that to be extremely unlikely as well.
There's no need to clarify the fangirl thing. I've had people ask for my number before. Wanting to see the costume in person isn't creepy in the least, so you're fine.
